William Jeong is best known as a saxophonist, pianist, composer and arranger in an assortment of bands and have worked closely with various composers, filmmakers, songwriters, dancers, and improvisers. He is also a multi-instrumentalist as well as a producer, an engineer, and a film composer.
He has a Bachelor of Music degree in performance from both the Massey University in New Zealand and The New School Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York. At the New School, New York, he studied with jazz legends Jimmy Owens, Charlie Persip, David Schnitter, George Cables and Adam Holzman, he also has worked as a live/studio recording and sound engineer. In 2016, finished his Master of Music in Jazz performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
He is one of the founding members of a multimedia consulting company called "Sonics NY", and was the sound/recording engineer.
